Approve and authorize Amendment No. 9 to Agreement No. 210018B with Abode Services, Inc., increasing the contract maximum from $4,662,140 to $4,895,170 for the term July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027, for the provision of homeless shelter operations, case management and housing placement services. BACKGROUND
In September 2016, Napa County released an RFP and selected Abode Services to bring emergency shelter, meal provision and housing navigation and tenancy sustaining services to individuals experiencing homelessness in Napa County. The contract with Abode Services, Inc. for operations of the South Napa Shelter, which includes meal provision, daytime drop-in services and extreme weather activation during the Winter Season at the South Napa Shelter, Housing Navigation Services, and Tenancy Sustaining Services to recently re-housed individuals formerly experiencing homelessness. Services provided are funded through a significant number of State and Federal grants and local funding, including a cost-sharing agreement for emergency shelter services with the City of Napa.
Today's action establishes the Agreement for services for Fiscal Year 2026-2027. This Agreement is reviewed annually, and the Scope of Work and budget are adjusted based on the availability of funding resources and the requirements of State and Federal grants.
