body
BACKGROUND
Staff requests the approval of a Budget Amendment of $12,000 to enable the purchase of signage for the recently rented building at 951 California Boulevard.
County Fire would like to purchase four aluminum panels to replace the current signage left behind by the last tenant. The four panels will be installed to the existing concrete sign mounts located at the front and side of the building. Clear and recognizable signage will allow the public to identify the Fire Department office and allow for safety and accessibility. The new signage will incorporate the dual logo, showcasing the cooperative agreement between the Napa County Fire Department and CAL FIRE.
Requested Actions:
1. Approve a Budget Amendment increasing appropriations by $12,000 in Fire Operations (2100000-55400) offset by a decrease in Fire Operations Special Dept Expense (2100000-53600), with no net change to the Fire Fund.
2. Approve purchase of capital asset in the amount of $12,000 for the purchase of four sign panels for county branding on 951 California Boulevard, Napa.
