BACKGROUND
Napa County's Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA) is partnering with Winston's CUP, a non-profit aimed at reducing food inequities in Napa Valley. Winston's CUP will run the South Campus Caf? providing healthy and delicious meals, and a work-experience program for those facing employment barriers. Purchasing an ice machine is critical to operate the caf?.
Requested actions:
1. Authorize the purchase of an ice machine for the cafeteria located at South Campus for use by Winston's Community Unity Project (CUP); and
2. Approve a Budget Amendment for the purchase of a capital asset in the amount of $7,500 within the Health and Human Services Agency (Fund 2000) Administration Division (Subdivision 2001000) with an increase to Equipment (55400) and decrease to Special Department Expense (53600)
