Approve transmittal of the proposed response to the 2023-24 Grand Jury Final Reports to the Presiding Judge as prescribed by Section 933 of the Penal Code. (No Fiscal Impact; Mandatory)

BACKGROUND
The County received the “Raising Awareness of Elder Abuse in Napa County” report. Staff prepared proposed responses to the findings and recommendations.
Staff will process direction from the Board and return with any revised responses. Upon Board approval, staff will transmit the responses to the Presiding Judge. Copies of the reports are on file with the Clerk of the Board or may be accessed online through the Napa County Superior Court’s website.
Requested Action:
1. Approve transmittal of the proposed responses to the 2023-24 Grand Jury Final Reports to the Presiding Judge as prescribed by Section 933 of the Penal Code.
