This is an informational item only, no action is proposed.
Discussion:
As required by State Aeronautics Law, the ALUC reviews land use compatibility issues for development within airport influence zones guided by the Napa County Airport Land Use Compatibility Plan. Airport compatibility issues include safety, noise, overflight and airspace protection. Caltrans Aeronautics staff will be providing an overview of the California Airport Land use Planning Handbook. The purpose of this agenda item is for educational purposes only. The Commission may accept public comments or questions at the Commission's discretion.
ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
ENVIRONMENTAL DETERMINATION: The presentation and discussion is not a project as defined by 14 California Code of Regulations 15378 (State CEQA Guidelines) and therefore CEQA is not applicable.
