BACKGROUND

On March 20, 2024 the Board approved renewal of a revenue agreement with CDFA for a maximum of $401,294 for the term July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2024 for reimbursement of services for the Statewide Pest Detection Program (placing, monitoring, reporting and inspection of insect traps). CDFA has subsequently identified $9,280 to support additional Sentinel Moth Survey activities for a new agreement total of $410,574. Approval of the requested action will allow the Agricultural Commissioner’s office to satisfy the contractual requirements.

ENVIRONMENTAL DETERMINATION: The proposed action is not a project as defined by 14 California Code of Regulations 15378 (State CEQA Guidelines) and therefore CEQA is not applicable.
