Approve out of state travel for Supervisor Anne Cottrell to attend the National Association of Counties (NACo) Annual Conference in New Orleans, LA from July 16-21, 2026. (No Fiscal Impact)

BACKGROUND
The National Association of Counties (NACo) represents the interests of America's counties, serving as a powerful voice in federal policymaking and a vital part of our nation's intergovernmental system. At the heart of NACo's mission is a commitment to advancing county priorities, promoting innovative policies, nurturing leadership skills and building networks of knowledge and collaboration. Supervisor Cottrell serves as Chair of NACo's Resilient Counties Innovation Council. Additionally, she is the Napa County Board of Supervisors appointed Delegate to the Rural County Representatives of California (RCRC), where she serves as an Executive Board Member, and Second Vice President.
NACo's Annual Conference will be held July 17-21, 2026, in New Orleans, LA. As Chair of NACo's Resilient Counties Innovation Council, and as an Executive Board Member for the RCRC, Supervisor Cottrell will attend the conference. The RCRC will reimburse airfare and cover all lodging and meal expenses. There is no cost to the County of Napa.
