BACKGROUND

Receive a presentation from the Napa County Fire Department with an overview of operational preparedness for the 2026 fire season, including staffing, resource coordination, and readiness efforts.

Shari Gardner, representing the Napa Communities Firewise Foundation, will present the annual report on Fire Safe Councils, including community engagement and wildfire preparedness activities.

Fire Administrator J.R. Rogers will also provide an update on the 2026 fuels reduction plan, including planned vegetation management projects and ongoing mitigation efforts with Napa County funding.
