BACKGROUND
On December 16, 2025, the Board of Supervisors authorized creation of the "Ag Building Rehab Project" and a budget transfer of $177,800 was allocated for the project using the Agricultural Commissioner-Sealer budget (Fund 3000, Sub-Division 3000550, Project 26019).
The Napa County Agricultural Commissioner's Office is responsible for the implementation of federal, state, and local regulatory programs within Napa County. The regulated programs are designed to promote agriculture and protect the environment and public health. To support this effort, this project will remodel the Agricultural Warehouse in preparation for installation of a new water meter test bench.
The scope of work for the Ag. Building Rehab Project includes but is not limited to:
* Demolition of the existing bathroom, storage room, and kitchen space.
* Prep and painting of interior walls.
* Installation of a new water meter test bench.
* Installation of a new electric water heater and plumbing improvements.
* Installation of a new mechanical unit.
