BACKGROUND
ReCoverCA Homebuyer Assistance Program is designed to assist families in purchasing homes outside of high fire hazard zones by providing low-to-moderate income households with a forgivable loan of up to $350,000 for down payment and closing costs. This loan accrues no interest, requires no monthly payments, and is forgiven after five years of ownership and occupancy.
