body
BACKGROUND
County departments need temporary staffing services from time to time. To fill this need, a Request for Proposal (RFP) was released in September of 2021. Bolt Staffing Service, Inc., was one of the staffing agencies that was awarded a contract in April of 2022.
This contract amendment allows Bolt Staffing Service, Inc., to continue to provide temporary staffing services to various County departments, ensure that temporary staff do not exceed 90 days in an assignment as mandated by Government Code Section 31000.4, and have background checks conducted on temporary workers prior to the start of their assignment.
Approval of this contract amendment updates the compensation rate to include a $0.50/hour Affordable Care Act charge, and extends the contract term through June 30, 2025, with an automatic renewal for two additional fiscal years. All other terms remain in full force and effect.
