BACKGROUND
In April 2023, the Board of Supervisors amended the Special Project Fund policy. The amendment renamed the fund to the "Community Investment Fund" to better capture the purpose of the fund and dedicated 20% of the total Community Investment Fund to Arts and Culture. Of the Arts and Culture funds, 20% was dedicated to Arts Council Napa Valley to support initiatives and the remaining 80% was made available as competitive grant funding for arts and culture organizations. Arts Council Napa Valley provided the Annual Report for Fiscal Year 2023-2024 and the proposed Scope of Work for Fiscal Year 2024-2025. The amount to be allocated to Arts Council Napa Valley is $61,418.
Requested Action:
1. Approval of and authorization for the Chair to sign Grant Agreement No. 250145B with Arts Council Napa Valley for a maximum of $61,418.
