BACKGROUND
The County's voice network servers have reached the end of their support and useful life. To continue to support the County's voice network infrastructure, replacement servers are required. If servers are not replaced, the County's voice infrastructure is at greater risk from cyberattacks, and hardware and software failure.
Requested Actions:
1. Approve purchase of capital assets in the amount of $33,000 for two (2) Dell PowerEdge Servers; and
2. Approve budget amendment increasing capital asset appropriations in the Information Technology Services budget (4200002-55400) in the amount of $33,000 using available Fund Balance.

With the current servers no longer supported, they are now obsolete and failure to replace the current servers will put the County's voice infrastructure at great risk of failure and cyberattacks.
