EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The Wildlife Conservation Commission reimbursed a total of $72,515 of the $74,909 awarded for the 2025-26 Grant Cycle.

ENVIRONMENTAL DETERMINATION: Not a “project” pursuant to California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) State CEQA Guidelines Section 15378.
BACKGROUND AND DISCUSSION
The Wildlife Conservation Commission awarded a total of $74,909 to 11 grant recipients for the 2025-26 grant cycle. The total amount reimbursed for eligible project expenses was $72,515 for the same cycle. The reimbursement total was reduced from the total awarded funds primarily due to a reduced request from North Bay Bear Collaborative, which could not complete some of the approved project components (i.e., data collection) due to the impacts on habitat by the Pickett fire in 2025. Annual reports from recipients on work accomplished with the awarded funds are included as attachments herein.
