Approve and authorize Agreement No. 240373B with The Regents of the University of California - Davis Campus Continuing and Professional Education for a contract maximum of $181,815 for Fiscal Year 2024-2025 for the provision of training services for staff and affiliated contractors. BACKGROUND
The County has contracted with the Regents of the University of California for these training sessions since 1983. This specialized training is not available through other entities and is provided by subject matter experts in the field. Trainings are in subject areas selected by HHSA that will benefit our staff agency-wide and will ensure that staff receive specific trainings to maintain program and contractor compliance. The objectives of this agreement are to ensure that HHSA staff improve service delivery in the administration of HHSA programs; implement tactics designed to support the health and well-being of HHSA clients; fulfill mandatory training requirements; remain in compliance with Civil Rights mandates; improve the quality and efficacy of casework and services to the community; and support knowledge and implementation of current best practices in the field.
