BACKGROUND
Wayfinding road-side signage for the Calistoga and River Ranch Farmworker Centers have been covered since early 2025 in the interest of the safety and security of lodgers.
At the March 2026 regular meeting, CHDC suggested the covered signage may be producing unintended consequences with respect to occupancy rates. Commissioners requested to discuss the item at the April meeting.
During the month of April, staff worked with CHDC management to solicit lodger feedback on this matter. Today, staff will present the Commission with lodger feedback.
