BACKGROUND
Human Resources received reclassification requests from the two incumbents in the System Support Analyst H&HS classification within the Health & Human Services Agency. Human Resources conducted reclassifications studies and determined that the incumbents were performing duties within scope of the Systems Support Analyst I and Systems Support Analyst II classifications. This action will reclassify the incumbents to the appropriate level of the recently created Systems Support Analyst series in accordance with the duties being performed. The Systems Support Analyst I is allocated to the Self-Sufficiency Services Division, and the Systems Support Analyst II is allocated to the Behavioral Health Division.

The increased cost of salary and benefits for the remainder of the fiscal year is approximately $11,736 and will be budgeted in future years.
Consequences if not approved:
The recommendation which ensures duties performed are within scope of the proper classification will not be implemented.
