SUBJECT: Revenue Agreement No. 230229B with County Medical Services Program Governing Board
RECOMMENDATION

Director of Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA) requests approval of and authorization for the Chair to sign Agreement No. 230229B with County Medical Services Program Governing Board, for a maximum of $50,000, for the term November 1, 2022 through April 30, 2024, for the award of funds from the Local Indigent Care Needs Grant Program (LICN), in order to promote timely delivery of necessary medical, behavioral health and support services to medically indigent adults.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Approval of today's action will allow HHSA to accept a grant award to expand the delivery of locally directed indigent care services for low-income uninsured and under-insured adults that lack access to health, behavioral health and associated support services.

Eligible populations within the community will not be able to access coordinated services to improve health and end the cycle of homelessness.
