BACKGROUND
The Board accepted the baseline check in the amount of $43,074 on November 28, 2023, for the CLLS Adult Literacy grant. On May 3, 2024, the Library received additional funding from the California State Library in the amount of $4,786 for the Adult Literacy Program. This is the final payment for Napa County Library's total allocation of Adult Literacy services for the current fiscal year. Per the CLLS grant terms, the Board must grant the authority to enter into an agreement, therefore the Director of Library Services and Community Outreach is requesting authorization to accept funds from the CLLS Adult Literacy grant program.
The funds will support guest speakers, projects, services, and supplies provided to the community at the Napa County Library literacy center.

Requested action:
Accept additional funding for the CLLS Adult Literacy program in the amount of $4,786.
