SUBJECT: Amendment No. 1 to Grant Agreement No. 240019B with Lucky Penny Productions

BACKGROUND
On July 18, 2023, the Board approved Grant Agreement No. 240019B with Lucky Penny Productions (Grantee) providing funding for Grantee’s proposal to replace existing incandescent stage lighting with new LED stage lighting. As a result of scheduling and delays in constructions, the project was not completed within the time frame expected and Grantee is now requesting an extension to utilize remaining grant funds until December 31, 2024.
Requested action:
1. Approval of and authorization to sign Amendment No. 1 to Grant Agreement 240019B with Lucky Penny Productions to extend the term of the Grant Agreement to allow Grantee additional time to complete the project as originally approved by the County with no additional fiscal impact.

ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
ENVIRONMENTAL DETERMINATION: The proposed action is not a project as defined by 14 California Code of Regulations 15378 (State CEQA Guidelines) and therefore CEQA is not applicable.
