Approve and authorize allocation of Board of Supervisors’ funds for a community engagement event in Supervisorial District 4 on Saturday, May 16, 2026. (Fiscal Impact: $1,100 Expense; Budgeted; General Fund; Discretionary)
body
BACKGROUND
The purpose of the event is to support civic and community engagement in the Berryessa Highlands community. The event will take place at the Capell Valley Volunteer Fire Station 14 (1193 Capell Valley Rd., Napa, CA 94558).
This “Community Meeting” is an opportunity for Supervisor Amber Manfree to discuss key County issues and hear input from community members in a low-income and rural area. It’s critical that Supervisor Manfree meets the constituents where they are to ensure equitable opportunity to meet with their local County representative. The Board approved funds will cover event costs such as food and light refreshments. The event will be free and open to the public countywide.
