BACKGROUND
The Board of Supervisors previously adopted the Napa County Library policy, Section 29, authorizing the Library Director to accept, on behalf of the Napa County Library, donations of $2,000 or less, and donations up to $10,000 from Friends of the Library groups.
The Director of Library Services now seeks the Board’s approval to accept a donation in the amount of $85,000 from the Friends of the Napa Library. Approval of these actions will support the continued enhancement of Library services and programs.
Requested actions:
1. Accept a donation in the amount of $85,000 from the Friends of the Napa Library; and
2. Authorize a letter of appreciation in acceptance of the donation.
