BACKGROUND AND DISCUSSION
Since July 15, 1986, the County of Napa has contracted with the City of Napa for centralized service of dispatching emergency vehicles and related services within the County. The centralized dispatching service eliminates duplication of services and achieves cost savings and operational efficiencies to the benefit of both parties and all residents within the City and County of Napa.
Amendment No. 7 to Cooperative Joint Powers Dispatching Services Agreement No. 170779B extends the term through June 30, 2022 and includes a 3% Cost of Living increase in the amount of $62,927 for a new Fiscal Year maximum of $2,160,501. The Napa City Council approved the Amendment on August 3, 2021.
