BACKGROUND
Redwood Toxicology Laboratory provides urine and saliva testing to determine the presence of amphetamines, opiates, barbiturates, cocaine, benzodiazepines, creatinine, alcohol and THC. This Amendment adds an additional drug testing option and increases several costs of drug testing. The vendor also tests for substances in addition to the routine panel at the request of the Probation Officer with results provided within 48 hours. Redwood Toxicology provides all supplies including forms, labels, bottles and security seals. Testing assists the Probation Officers enforce the terms and conditions of each probation order.
Requested Action:
Approve and authorize Amendment No. 6 to Agreement No. 170879B to modify the fee schedule and extend the term from July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025 with a one-year automatic annual renewal.

ENVIRONMENTAL DETERMINATION: The proposed action is not a project as defined by 14 California Code of Regulations 15378 (State CEQA Guidelines) and therefore CEQA is not applicable.
