SUPPLEMENTAL ITEM
Approve and authorize out of state travel for Supervisor Alfredo Pedroza and Supervisor Belia Ramos to attend the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials (NALEO) 2024 Annual Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada June 18-20, 2024, at an estimated cost not to exceed $3,500, to discuss the importance of Latino engagement in governmental policy with other Latino public officials in the country. (Fiscal Impact: $3,500 Expense; General Fund; Budgeted; Discretionary).

BACKGROUND
The National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials (NALEO) is a non-profit, non-partisan organization that encourages the participation of Latino communities in the American political government processes. NALEO is the largest annual gathering of Latino public officials in the country and highly recognized for featuring distinguished speakers. In 2024 the conference will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada from June 18-20, 2024. Supervisor Pedroza and Supervisor Ramos will attend as Latino representatives of Napa County.
