BACKGROUND AND DISCUSSION

The Department has had a LiveScan machine since the Board approved the purchase in 2005. LiveScan is part of the booking process for felony and misdemeanor offenses at Juvenile Hall.

The Amendment increases the contract maximum from $8,600 to $9,000 to support additional service fees.

Approval of today’s Agreement authorizes Idemia to continue servicing and maintaining the LiveScan machine in the Department during business hours to ensure the system is in good working order.

Idemia is not a local vendor.
