body

BACKGROUND

On October 1, 2019, Corrections entered into Agreement No. 200124B with Fakouri Electrical Engineering, Inc., to obtain uninterruptible power supply (UPS) system routine maintenance and emergency services at the jail.  The service provided by Fakouri must be maintained, even after the new detention facility opens, to ensure power to the court holding area that will be located on the ground floor of the current jail.

Today’s requested action is to approve Amendment No.1 to Agreement No. 200124B with Fakouri Electrical Engineering, Inc., to extend the term through June 30, 2027, with an automatic renewal of up to two (2) additional terms to maintain uninterruptible power supply to the jail.

Yes

Future fiscal impact:

Funds will be budgeted accordingly in future fiscal years.
