BACKGROUND
Assessor-Recorder-County Clerk ex-officio Registrar of Voters is the filing officer for Form 700 Statements of Economic Interest and the filing officer for campaign reporting for local candidates and independent committees. State law has required the filing of both types of documents for decades. Prior Boards contracted with Southtech for these services. Southtech was acquired by Granicus on November 9, 2018. These contracts will extend electronic filing through June 30, 2028.
Agreement No. 260011B with Granicus Inc. supports campaign reporting subscriptions for $14,979 and an annual 10% increase until the term ending June 30, 2028.
Agreement No. 260012B with Granicus Inc. supports economic disclosure document processing subscriptions for $17,011 and an annual 10% increase until the term ending June 30, 2028.
Requested Action: Approve and authorize Agreement No. 260011B (Campaign Reporting) and Agreement No. 260012B (Disclosure) with Granicus Inc. for electronic filing of required Disclosure and Campaign Reporting statements totaling $31,990 for the period of July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2026 with annual 10% increases until the term ending June 30, 2028.
