title

Approve and authorize a Certificate of Acceptance for an Emergency Access Easement Deed with the Napa County Land Trust to allow for right of ingress and egress on Assessor’s Parcel Nos. 025-030-018 and 025-030-019. (No Fiscal Impact; Discretionary)

body

BACKGROUND

The Emergency Access Easement Deed facilitates the right of ingress and egress along the existing roadway that traverses the Napa County Land Trust owned Assessor’s Parcel Nos. 025-030-018 and 025-030-019. These parcels are adjacent to the California Department of Forestry owned Las Posadas State Forest and join the state forest and landowners on the other side, the roadway of which terminates on Chiles Pope Valley Road.

The Easement Deed further allows the County to contain any vegetative maintenance on either side of the existing roadway in compliance with the Road Standards or as otherwise required by law.

Recommended Action: approve and authorize a Certificate of Acceptance for an Emergency Access Easement Deed with the Napa County Land Trust to allow for right of ingress and egress on Assessor’s Parcel Nos. 025-030-018 and 025-030-019.
