SUBJECT: Amendment No. 3 to Lease Agreement No. 210254B with Congressman Mike Thompson for use of office space at South Campus.

RECOMMENDATION
title
Approve and authorize Amendment No. 3 to Lease Agreement No. 210254B with Congressman Mike Thompson, United States House of Representative, to extend the term through May 30, 2025 at the rental amount of $796 per month, for use of office space located at 2721 Napa Valley Corporate Drive, Napa, California. (Fiscal Impact: $796 Revenue; General Fund; Budgeted; Discretionary)
body
BACKGROUND
Congressman Mike Thompson has leased space at 2721 Napa Valley Corporate Drive for his District Office since 2017. Since January 3, 2021, he has leased the space under Lease Agreement No. 210254B. The lease term and all amendments are due to expire on April 30, 2025. A new lease with Congressman Thompson is not feasible due to the pending remodel of 2721 Napa Valley Corporate Drive (Building 4) pursuant to implementation of the County’s Facilities Master Plan. To provide additional time for Congressman Thompson to relocate his District Office, an amendment to the lease agreement is needed to extend the term through May 30, 2025.
REQUESTED ACTION:
Approve and authorize Amendment No. 3 to Lease Agreement No. 210254B with Congressman Mike Thompson, United States House of Representatives, to extend the term of the lease agreement through May 30, 2025, with a continued monthly rental fee of $796 per month.
