BACKGROUND
This Agreement provides for facilitation and consultant services to assist in developing a county-wide inclusive fully integrated system of care for Probation youth to include prevention services, intervention, and transition services. Additional time is needed to perform contracted services.
Shared Vision Consultants (SVC) has a team of subject matter experts, which provides a wide variety of innovative services including, systems change through strategic planning, leadership, coaching, transfer of Learning, facilitation, curriculum development, training, team building, project coordination, and organizational development. SVC specializes in working with the State and counties for over 12 years providing services to children, youth, at-risk youth and their families.
Funding for the entire contract amount is offset by State realigned funds under Senate Bill 823 (Chapter 337, Statutes of 2020), for the purposes of providing county-based custody, care, and supervision of youth who are realigned from the state Division of Juvenile Justice.
At the May 5, 2022 JJCC SB 823 Subcommittee meeting, the members voted and approved funding to contract with a vendor for the development of youth services and a county-wide, inclusive fully integrated system of care of Probation youth to include prevention, intervention, and transition services.
Requested Action:
Approve and authorize Amendment No. 2 to Agreement No. 230012B with Shared Vision Consultants, Inc to extend the term from July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2026 with no increase in the $121,480 contract maximum to provide a county-wide, all-inclusive plan for prevention strategies and services integration for at-risk youth and their families
