BACKGROUND
Board of Supervisors adopted the Napa County Library policy, Section 29, authorizing the Library Director to accept on behalf of the Napa County Library donations in the amount of $2,000 or less, and up to $10,000 by Friends of the Library groups to support existing Library services and programs.
Director of Library Services and Community Outreach seeks the Board's approval to accept a donation in the amount of $50,000 from the Friends of the Napa Library. The donation will help fund projects and programs provided to the community at the Napa County Library.
Requested actions:
1. Accept a donation in the amount of $50,000 from the Friends of the Napa Library; and
2. Authorize a letter of appreciation in acceptance of the donation.
