BACKGROUND
Today’s action will approve a professional services agreement with Marquee Fire Protection, LLC effective July 1, 2024, with a maximum compensation amount of $77,235 for routine services and $25,000 for non-routine services for a total of $102,235 per fiscal year in years 1-3, with the option for automatic renewal for years 4-5 with a maximum compensation amount of $85,143 for routine services and $30,000 for non-routine services for a total of $115,143 per fiscal year.
Napa County’s current agreement for fire sprinkler systems services is expiring as of June 30, 2024. As part of a competitive procurement process for contracted professional fire sprinkler systems testing, inspection, and maintenance services and in accordance with County purchasing policy, County staff issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) on February 15, 2024. Six companies submitted proposals in response to this RFP. The proposals were scored according to predetermined weighted criteria: company history, experience, qualifications, approach to scope of work, and pricing. Marquee Fire Protection distinguished themselves as the most qualified company and was selected by the panel to provide Napa County with fire sprinkler systems services.
Marquee Fire Protection is not a local vendor.
