Director of Human Resources requests approval of a Budget Adjustment increasing appropriations in Human Resources (1000-1022000) by $220,000, offset by decreasing appropriations in Training and Organizational Development (1000-1023000) totaling $165,000 and County Executive Office (1000-1020000) totaling $55,000 due to reorganization and additional administrative duties (4/5 vote required).

ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
ENVIRONMENTAL DETERMINATION: The proposed action is not a project as defined by 14 California Code of Regulations 15378 (State CEQA Guidelines) and therefore CEQA is not applicable.
BACKGROUND AND DISCUSSION
The requested action approves a Budget Adjustment appropriation increase of $220,000 in the Human Resources Division of the County Executive Office. Due to an administrative oversight, the necessary increase was not included with the mid-year budget adjustment. After the reorganization, Human Resources requires additional funding to manage the countywide Training program
Therefore, the Director of Human Resources requests approval of the Budget Adjustment to support countywide Training program.
