Approve and authorize Amendment No. 9 to Agreement No. 170436B with Jackson & Coker Locum Tenens, LLC, and Amendment No. 2 to Agreement No. 200176B with LocumTenens.com for Fiscal Year 2023-2024, and each subsequent renewal through June 30, 2029, for the continued provision of licensed psychiatric services within the Behavioral Health Division. BACKGROUND
Jackson & Coker Locum Tenens, LLC, and LocumTenens.com employ professionally licensed staff who provide direct medication services to clients of Napa County Health and Human Services Agency’s (HHSA) Children’s Behavioral Health and Adult Mental Health programs. In addition, psychiatrists provide consultation to non-medical staff regarding medical issues involving specific clients, participate in interdisciplinary staff case conferences, and represent the medical discipline in administrative oversight activities mandated by mental health or Medi-Cal regulations, including Quality Assurance and Professional Practice reviews.
Requested Action:
1. Approve and authorize Amendment No. 9 to Agreement No. 170436B with Jackson & Coker Locum Tenens, LLC, to increase the contract maximum dollar amount by $150,000 for a new maximum of $1,050,000 and incorporate Addendum 6 to Exhibit B to increase the hourly rates commencing in Fiscal Year 2023-2024, and each subsequent renewal thereof
2. Approve and authorize Amendment No. 2 to Agreement No. 200176B with LocumTenens.com to replace Exhibit A with Exhibit A-1 (Scope of Work), replace Exhibit B-1 with Exhibit B-2 (Compensation), and modify Specific Term and Condition 3.4 to extend the Agreement through June 30, 2029.

If these amendments are not approved, coverage for Napa County’s Medication Clinic will be severely limited and would greatly affect our clients’ ability to access services or medication in a timely manner. |
