SUBJECT: Resolution Amending the Departmental Allocation List for the Chief Executive Office

RECOMMENDATION
title
Adopt a Resolution amending the Departmental Allocation List for the County Executive Office. (Fiscal Impact: $8,500 Expense; General Fund; Budgeted; Discretionary)
body
BACKGROUND
The County Executive Office has recently reorganized and changed one of the Deputy Chief Executive Officer positions to the Chief Budget Officer. With the new Chief Budget Officer position, the Assistant Chief Executive Officer position no longer has direct management of the annual budget process. Due to this authority assigned to the Chief Budget Officer, a supervisory position is needed to relieve the Chief Budget Officer from directly supervising the four-person analyst team. Therefore, the CEO’s Office requested adding a 1.0 FTE Principal Management Analyst class which is the first-line supervisory level in the Management Analyst classification series and deleting a vacant 1.0 FTE Senior Management Analyst.
The approximately $8,500 increase in expense for the fourth quarter of the fiscal year is covered by salary savings from the vacant position.
Requested Action:
Amend the Department Allocation List for the County Executive Office by deleting 1.0 FTE Senior Management Analyst and adding 1.0 FTE Principal Management Analyst, effective March 14, 2026.
