body
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Napa County increased various fees associated with the regulatory activities of the Local Enforcement Agency (LEA) effective January 1, 2023, pursuant to Napa County Resolution No. 2022-133. The fee increases were due in part to the additional obligations imposed on LEA by Senate Bill 1383. The FY 23-24 budget did not assume increased operating costs associated with the LEA fee increases. The request is to increase the appropriations for FY 23-24 by $60,000 to cover the increased costs. The increased Appropriations will be offset with the use of available Fund Balance.
