REQUESTED ACTION: Adoption of Resolution 2026-01 re-adopting final budget for Fiscal Year 2025-2026, to increase xxxxxxxxx for a new total of $xxxxxxxxx to be effective immediately. (Unanimous approval required.)

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
On June 16, 2025, the Board adopted Resolution 2026-01 to approve and adopt the Authority's final budget for Fiscal Year 2025-2026. Subsequent to adoption of that resolution, staff has been planning to build a new, modern indoor C&D facility. The overall cost of the facility is expected to be around $41 million. The Authority will be utilizing $17 million in cash on hand and financing the remaining $24 million. The new facility will necessitate a tipping fee increase to pay off the necessary debt service. Therefore, it is necessary for the Board to adopt a new resolution to re-adopt the final budget to include the increase. The proposed resolution would increase the appropriation for Fund 8100/810300 by $xxxxxx.
