BACKGROUND
Monthly Financial Report: The most recent financial report is attached.
Conservation Corp North Bay (CCNB) assists the Agency with litter cleanup though out the JPA area, and in the south county area under a separate contract with the County. Their annual report is attached. A representative of the Agency, Kyle Larue, Director of Zero Waste and Compliance, will be present to answer any questions about their organization.
Landfill Closure: I have received a report that the Company continues to work with their engineering team to prepare their landfill closure plan, and hope to submit it to the LEA/Calrecycle in a few months. For instance, it takes 4 people to broadcast the Supervisor's meetings (2 clerks, 2 IT people). UVA only has one Clerk. Most small agencies (such as NVWMA) do not invest in the staff and technology to broadcast. Yountville contracts out its broadcasting needs. The County does it's work in house....
