EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Approval of today's action will authorize the acceptance of revenue in the amount of $2,827,773, over a 3 year period, from the CDPH WIC Division. Administration of the Napa County WIC, through the Public Health Division of HHSA, provides services to nearly 4,000 participants through sites in Napa, St. Helena, Calistoga and American Canyon

Future fiscal impact:
This agreement terminates on September 30, 2025. Appropriations have been included in the approved Fiscal Year 2022-2023 budget and future fiscal years will be budgeted accordingly.
Consequences if not approved:
If the recommended action is not approved, there will be no federal revenue passed through to the state to cover Fiscal Year 2022-2023 budgeted costs of the WIC program. If funding is not available, HHSA may be unable to operate or continue the program at the same level of service.
