District Attorney is advising the Board of Supervisors that she will be travelling out-of-state to attend the National District Attorney's Association, Public Information Officer Training from August 21 - 25, 2022. The estimated cost of $2,000 will be borne by the District Attorneys' budget unit.

District Attorney Allison Haley is regularly the point of information distribution for the District Attorneys' Office. This course is designed to help meet the demands of transparency within the bounds of ethical obligations, giving focus of the importance of on presenting information to the public.

If District Attorney Allison Haley does not attend this training session, there will be a greater reliance on other staff members within Napa County to oversee the growing demand of public information specific to the District Attorney's office.
