EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Approval of today's action will allow the County to enter into an agreement with A&A Health Services, LLC, in order to allow HHSA Mental Health clients to be placed in a facility that is both appropriate for their needs and in closer proximity than other out of county facilities-allowing greater opportunity for clients and families to connect in-person and enhancing service outcomes.

Future fiscal impact:
This Agreement contains a provision for automatic annual renewal. Appropriations have been included in the approved Fiscal Year 2022-2023 budget and future fiscal years will be budgeted accordingly.
Consequences if not approved:
Services provided under this Agreement are deemed a mandated service category by the Department of Health Care Services (DHCS). If Napa County does not enter into an agreement with this contractor, HHSA Mental Health clients will lose the opportunity to be placed at a facility that is both appropriate for their needs and closer in proximity to Napa County than other facilities, which allows greater opportunity for clients and their families to connect in-person, enhancing service outcomes.
